I just took a look at the FFS Facebook page to see if there's any word on Friday's update. There is, though I see no mention of special birthday release. If there's going to be something special, TL is quiet about it.
What I did see announced is a new animal, which surely is a Fire-Electric one. It's called the Fennec Shox and this is the description:
This Creature will be sure to add a new spark to your Forest! Its big ears and cute face will help heat up even the coldest of hearts. Be sure to make room for the Fennec Shox in Fantasy Forest Story!
Depending on whether we need to breed for it, I may see if I can combine this with a few shots at a Golden Retriever.
Also: there is a good chance that this Friday some birthday celebration takes place that involves "stuff" dropping from harvesting. It would be smart to plant Rune Prunes ahead of the Friday update!
